Barki Dhamral




Barki Dhamral is a small settlement in Hazaribagh District of Jharkhand. Tilaiya Dam - across the Barakar River - in Kodarma District is a nearby destination.

Barhi, is a small town around 19 km south-east of Chauparan on the National Highway 32, easily accessible from here. Other major interests around this place include Ram Kund, Sita Kund, and Laxman Kund.

The Grand Trunk Road, which was the most important means of military communication between the lower provinces and northern India from 1780 to 1858, also passes very close to this place.

Koderma Railway Station is the nearest major railway station. Ranchi Airport serves this area. Barki Dhamral can be accessed by local buses and taxies from Barhi and Barkatha.
