Barkhera Kalan




Also called Barkhera, Barkhera Kalan is a town in Pilibhit District, Uttar Pradesh. It is located about 20 km from Pilibhit on the state highway connecting Shahjahanpur and Khatima, a town in Udham Singh Nagar District of Uttaranchal. This town falls under the jurisdiction of Bisalpur taluk.

A large 18th century mosque built by Hafiz Rahmat Khan as a replica of Jama Masjid at Delhi, are the chief attractions in the town of Pilibhit.

Barkhera Kalan is about 15 km from Deoria Kalan, 17 km from Bisalpur and 19 km from Shibnagar. Pilibhit Junction Railway Station and Amausi Airport are the nearest railway station and airport.
