Bargi Dam is a major dam in Madhya Pradesh and first of its kind across the river Narmada. It is situated near the Bijora Village, around 40 km south-west of Jabalpur city.
This small dam, completed in 1990, is a major water source and is also used for power generation. The area is opened for visitors till late evening. A fishing co-operative society caters to the fishing community living in and around the dam. Nearby attraction is the picturesque
