Baramura Hill, meaning big hills, is in the state of
Tripura. The Baramura- Debtamura and
Atharamura-Kalajhari hill ranges together bound the
South Tripura District. Baramura hill range runs from north to south of the district and the hill is divided by the Gumati River forming Debtamura hill range.
Howrah River originates from this hill.
