Banpas




Banpas lies near the banks of the small stream of Khari, one of the tributaries of the Damodar River, in Bardhaman District of West Bengal. The town is 11 km south-west of Bhatar, a taluk headquarters town of the district. Neighboring Banpas on the south is Talit.

Some of the attractions around Banpas include Rarheswar Temple, Curzon Gate and Tomb of Sher Afghan.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport and Banpas Railway Station serve this area.
