Bannerghatta National Park




Bannerghatta National Park, established in the year 1974, is situated at Bannerghatta in Bangalore, Karnataka. It extends to an area of about 25,000 acres.

The park houses panthers, lions, tigers and a large variety of birds. An amazing collection of reptiles are also available in the park. Other animals include elephant, gaur, leopard, jackal, fox, wild pig, sloth bear, sambar, spotted deer, barking deer, common langur, bonnet macaque, porcupine, and the hare.

Thrilling lion and tiger safaris are arranged. Other attractions of the park are mini aviary, museum, herbivore safari, and a mini zoo. Trekking facility is also arranged to Uddigebande, Hajjamana Kallu, and Mirza Hill
