Banmankhi




Banmankhi, also known by the name Barimanki Goasi, is a small town in Purnia District of Bihar. The town is famed for sugar mills. Purnia, the district headquarters and a major trading center, is located 4 km east. National Highway 31, spanning from Barhi in Jharkhand to Amingaon in Assam, passes through this town. Places of tourist interest include Kajha Kothi, Kali Bari Mandir, Matha Asthan and Katihar, 34 km south. Banmankhi Junction Railway Station is the nearest railway access point. The nearest airport is Patna Airport.
