Established in 1959, Bangalore Amateur Radio Club (VU2ARC) is an independent, non-profit organization based in Bangalore, Karnataka. The aim is to promote participation among individuals who are interested in communication and electronics. The club also provides emergency communication during the disasters whenever the normal communication fails.
Bangalore Amateur Radio Club meets every second Sunday at Bharat Scouts and Guides headquarters at 18:30 hrs. It is associated with International/Indian Association of Emergency Managers, and Joint Assistance Center.
