Banda

Banda is a taluk headquarters town, lying on the banks of the Sonar River, in Sagar District, Madhya Pradesh. It is about 30 km north of Sagar.

Batiagarh, Garhakota, Noradehi Wildlife Sanctuary, Rahatgarh and Kalinjar Fort are the major tourist spots nearby.

Nearest airport is at Bhopal. Saugor Railway Station serves the town. National Highway 86 passes through Banda.
