Banasthali Vidyapith is a fully residential women's university located at
Tonk District. Established in 1935, this university is one of the five universities in India meant exclusively for women.
Education is offered to women from the primary level to the PhD level. Its school education wing consists of elementary education, and secondary and senior secondary education. In the higher education section, courses are offered at the undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD levels. Part-time programs are also offered.
For imparting a systematic education to the students, it imparts a five-fold educational program, known as ‘Panchmukhi Shiksha’. This program endeavors a balance between five aspects of education - physical, practical, aesthetic, moral and intellectual. It has an extension center at Jaipur.
