Bamra is located about 5 km east of Raiganj, in North Dinajpur District of West Bengal. Ranipur in the north-west, Hemtabad in the north-east, Kaliyaganj in the east and Durgapur in the south are some of the towns situated in close proximity to Bamra. The town is only a few kilometers away from the National Highway 34.
