Located to the east of Dhule, Balsane is a village in Sakri taluk of Dhule District. Pimpalner is 23 km west.
Balsane is a prominent Jain pilgrim center. It enshrines a number of temples, built in Hemadpanthi and Bahamani style of architecture. The caves seen here are also noteworthy.
