Balisana




Balisana, literally meaning 'laden with sand,' is a village in Patan District of Gujarat. The village is known for the presence of very high levels of fluoride in its groundwater. It is located 15 km to the east of Patan.

Shri Chanasma Teerth, the 14th century Jain temple at Chanasma, is easily accessible from here.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport and Patan Railway Station serve Balisana.
