Bali




Bali is a small town in Pali District and is 8 km south east of Falna.

This is a walled town on the left bank of the Mithari River. It was the headquarters of a district with the same name in the erstwhile state of Jodhpur.

An ancient fort and many beautifully carved temples are the prime attraction of Bali. Famous temples include Manmohan Parsavnathji, Chandraprabhuji, Vimalnathji, Dharmnathji, Charbhujaji, Mataji, Hanumanji and Thakurji. About 12 km south-west of Bali is a village named Beejapur, which has the remains of an ancient city called Hathundi or Hastikundi.

Nearest airport is at Udaipur. Falna Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
