Balaji Temple

Balaji Temple, built in 1610 by Shri Balbhadra Dasji and Shri Bhosleji, is one of the important shrines in Raigarh District of Chhattisgarh. Sree Balaji is the presiding deity here. The walls of the temple are graced with beautiful images, depicting scenes from Lord Ram’s life. Another highlight is Saligrams placed near the idol of Sree Balaji. These Saligrams, believed to be the symbol of Lord Vishnu, were found floating in the Gandaki River (Nepal).
