Baladev Ratha

Baladeva Ratha (1779-1845) was famous as a musical poet, Sanskrit scholar and singer. His 'Campu' is a unique work. It includes 34 songs and short poems with prose pieces attached to each song. Ratha was honored with the title of Kavyasurya.
