Bala Balaji Swamy Temple




Bala Balaji Swamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara, is situated at Appannapalle village in East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. The temple also has the mulaviratas of LorVenkateshwararara, Padmavathi thayar and Andal from Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam.

It is believed that sages and rishis meditated here and attained moksha. Devotees believe that by taking a holy bath in the sacred river of Vainetha will get rid their sins. The main festivals are the Mukkoti Ekadasi, Uttaradwara Darshanam and Kalyanamahotsavams. The temple administration offers accomodation facilities and free meals to devotees.

Bala Balaji Swamy Temple is situated about 45 km from the Narsapuram Railway Station and 87 km from the Rajahmundry Railway Station.
