Bakrota Hills

Bakrota Hills, located at an altitude of 2085 m above the sea level in Chamba District, Himachal Pradesh, is part of the Dalhousie Hill Station. A superb view of the snow-clad peaks of the Himalayas can be had from here. The Bakrota Mall offers a 5 km popular walking path around the hill, which is frequented by throngs of tourists every year. The unpredictable golden sunshine that filters through the oak, pin and deodar trees is an exhilarating experience.

There are sufficient facilities for a comfortable stay at this resort. The nearest airport is at Dharamsala, a three-hour drive away. The nearest railhead is Pathankot in Punjab. Tourist taxis and buses are available for local transport.
