Baija Taal Cultural Complex

Baija Taal Cultural Complex is Gwalior city’s latest attraction. It was built by Baija Baj, a distinguished lady of vision, belonging to the Scindia family. Originally here stood an oval shaped tank with bridges leading to the surrounding stone steps. The tank was meant for ceremonial and festive use. Later it fell into disrepair. Now it is modified and reincarnated as a cultural complex containing an art gallery and open air theatre.
