Bahulavana




Bahulavana is a sacred place located about 7 km from Vrindavan, Mathura District. There are two bathing ghats, Krishna Kunda and Balram Kunda.

It is believed that Lord Krishna used to come here with Lord Balram and hundreds of cowherd boys. Major attraction here is a small temple called Bahula Temple. During the month of Chaitra (March-April), thousands of devotees arrive here to bath in the holy ghats. Banke Bihari Temple, Madana Mohan Temple, Sriji Temple and Jugal Kishore Temple are the other attractions in the vicinity. Agra Civil Enclaves is the nearest airport and Mathura Junction Railway Station is within 10 km from here.
