Bahula Chaturthi




Bahula Chaturthi falls on the fouth day of the dark half of Bhadon, the sixth month of the Sikh calendar. It is celebrated with great pomp and festivity. Garlands of flowers are put around the neck of cows and calves. Also, pictures of the heaven are drawn on winnowing baskets plastered with cow-dung.
