Bagore Ki Haveli




Bagore Ki Haveli is a congenial old building situated on the banks of Pichhola Lake. It was built in the second half of the 18th century by Amir Chand Badwa - the prime minister of Mewar. The palace has 138 rooms, balconies, courtyards, terraces and very interesting display of costumes and modern art. The chambers of the royal ladies are adorned with fresco paintings. The two peacocks made from small pieces of colored glasses are fine examples of glasswork. Bagore Ki Haveli is open daily to visitors from 10:00 to 17:00 hrs.
