Bagnath Temple




Bagnath Temple is situated at the heart of Bageshwar. It is an ancient shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple - located at the confluence of Gomati and Sarayu rivers - was built in 1450 by Kumaon ruler, Laxmi Chand. The nearby temples are Bairav Temple, Dattatrey Temple, Ganga Temple, Hanuman Temple, Durga Temple, Kalika Temple, Panchnam Junakhara and Vaneshwar Temple.
