Around 17 km south-west of Aurangabad, Bagha is a small developing town in the western region of Aurangabad District in Bihar. Located along the banks of the Son River, Bagha is often adversely affected during floods.
Towns close to Bagha are Barun (6 km north), Akorha (6 km south) and
Son Nagar (8 km north). Prominent tourist spots such as Dehri on Sone (9 km east), Rohtasgarh Fort and Sasaram are easily accessible.
Nearest airport is at Gaya, approximately 80 km east. The rail route extending from Husainabad to Son Nagar passes through the heart of the city. Son Nagar Railway Station serves this town.
