Baga is a small village in North Cachar Hills District. Dimasa tribes are the major inhabitants here. Carbonaceous shale deposit is abundant in the area. Some of the places near Baga are Langlut and Dithur in the north, Derebara and Langyen in the east and Waitang in the south.
