Badrakaliamman Temple




Badrakaliamman Temple is an ancient shrine situated in the north of Sivakasi, in Virudhunagar District, Tamil Nadu. The temple enshrines Goddess Badrakaliamman as the presiding deity. The presiding deity, regarded as the guardian of Sivakasi, is a powerful deity who fulfills the truthful prayers of the needy.

The temple boasts of a magnificent tower which is considered as the tallest of all the Goddess Kali temple towers in the state. Panguni Pongal festival celebrated here during April – May attracts thousands of devotees from far and near.
