Bado Sarai




Bado Sarai is a significant town in Bara-Banki District of Uttar Pradesh. It is sited about 9 km northeast of Ram Nagar. Bado Sarai is believed to have been founded by a spiritual King around 550 years ago.

The famous Kotwa Dham temple, dedicated to Baba Jagjivan Das, is situated 6 km southeast of Bado Sarai. A large fair is held here. Thousands of devotees throng here on this occasion to take a holy dip in the pond within the temple premises. Another attraction is the tomb of Sufi Saint Malamat Shah.

Barabanki is to the southwest of of Bado Sarai. Bindaura and Safdarganj are the other surrounding places. Amausi Airport and Barabanki Railway Station are the nearest access points.
