Badkulla




The town of Badkulla is in the Nadia District of West Bengal. It is around 75 km from Kolkata. Krishnanagar is 14 km to its north. The town is surrounded by Shantipur in the west; Bagula in the north and Ranaghat in the south.

Major point of attraction here is the Bhabar Purnananda Ashram, dedicated to Sri Sri Mahachandi Kali - the divine Mother. Sonargouranga temple (the temple with the golden statue of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu), Rajbari (Krishnanagar Palace), Chandroday Temple, Roman Catholic Church, Saligram and Navadvipa are the other points of tourist interest around the town.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport is the closest airport and Badkulla Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
