Badaga Language



Badaga - a hybrid of Kannada and Tamil languages - is the dialect spoken by Badaga Tribes. Some linguistic features of this language resemble with the Kurumba dialect. There is no script for Badaga, but it has a fairly rich oral literature. Badaga is widely used in the Nilgiris District.
