Babulnath Temple

Babulnath Temple is an ancient shrine, situated at the end of Marine Drive and south of Malabar Hill, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The presiding deity here is Lord Shiva, worshipped as Babulnath. The temple enshrines a beautiful stone Shivling.

Built in 1780, the temple is one of the most spacious temples in the city. It is situated at an altitude of 1,000 ft above sea level, overlooking the mighty Arabian Sea.

Devotees visit the temple in large number to obtain the blessings of the lord, especially on Mondays, as Monday is stated very auspicious to Lord Shiva.
