Avandha Fort is placed in the
Igatpuri region of the
Sahyadris. It is 4,300 ft above the sea level. There are fortification remains, rock-cut caves, and water cisterns. Splendid views of Patta fort,
Aad Fort, and Mhasoba hill are offered. Girwadi and Kadwa Colony are the base villages.
