Avalakki Happala is a type of papad. This is a thin crispy wafer-like dish that goes well with meals and snacks. This papad is made from poha (flattened or beaten rice), buttermilk, asafoetida, green chili, cumin seeds and rice flour for dusting. It can be prepared ahead and served as needed.
