Attirala, erstwhile Araturevula, is a religious place in
Cuddapah District of
Andhra Pradesh. Located on the Cuddapah-
Chennai Highway, it is 55 km south of
Cuddapah and 10 km south of
Rajampet.
Considered as sacred as Gaya, Attirala is one of the most important pilgrim spots in the district. The prime attraction here is the magnificent Parasurama Temple. Thousands of people throng to Attirala during Mahashivaratri, which is celebrated here with great pomp and festivity.
Tirupati Airport is the nearest airport. Razampeta Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
