Atmakur

Atmakur is a taluk headquarters in Nellore District of Andhra Pradesh. Also spelled Athmakur, it is 44 km north-west of Nellore.

Situated on the Nellore mica schist belt, Atmakur is rich in mica deposits.

Tirupati Airport is the nearest airport. Bitragunta Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
