Ata

Ata is situated 5 km east of Sohna on Sohna- Hathin road in Gurgaon district. During the time of Gurjara-Pratiharas, it was an important center of art and architecture. There are two marvelous icons in the town. The ancient icon of Uma Maheshvara seated on Nandi attracts many tourists. The icon of Adinath which belongs to medieval period is also worth visiting.
