Asurgarh is a small village situated just five km from Narla and 3 km from Rupra Road Railway station in Kalahandi District, Orissa. Major point of attraction here is the Asurgarh Fort. The fort now in a dilapidated condition is situated between an oval shaped tank and Sandul River.

Asurgarh is situated about 35 km from Bhawanipatna, the district headquarters, which is known for its numerous temples.
