Assan is a village in
Jind District of
Haryana. It is an archeologically important place. Many coins belonging to the 3rd century have been found from here. The place is also associated with the Vedic twin deities Asvins.
Assan is about 14 km east of Jind. The nearest railhead is Jind Junction Railway Station.
