Ashtalakshmi Temple




Ashtalakshmi Temple, dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi, is on the outskirts of Hyderabad. It is one of the two Ashtalakshmi temples in the country, the other being in Chennai.

Built in south Indian architectural style, the temple houses the idols of Ashtalakshmis, Sriman Narayana (Lord Vishnu), Sri Ganapathi (Ganesh) and Lord Garuda. The idols of Ashtalakshmis are ornamented with gold and necklaces. The doors and doorframes of the temple are carved with the different forms of Ashtalakshmi and the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu. There is a mahagopuram, which is decorated by about 134 vigrahams (idols).

Temple timings are from 06:00 to 12:00 hrs and 17:00 to 21:00 hrs.
