Green Dale Park, the first of its kind in Kerala, is situated here along the shores of the backwaters of Ashtamudi Lake. Another major attraction is a 200-year-old elegant Government guesthouse, which stands as an example of architectural skill. The village also holds Yathrinivas, a budget hotel run by Kerala Tourism Development Corporation.
