Asaf-ud-Daula’s Mosque

Asaf-ud-Daula’s Mosque is a famous monument in Lucknow. It is situated to the right of the gate of the Bara Imambara. This mosque has been named after the person who built it. This historic monument is however closed to non-Muslims. It is open to the public daily except on Friday from dawn to dusk. Across the mosque there is a step-well with a five-storey tower structure, which is worth visiting.

The nearest railhead is the Lucknow Junction railway station, situated to the south-west of Lucknow city.
