Asaf-ud-Daula’s Mosque is a famous monument in Lucknow
. It is situated to the right of the gate of the Bara Imambara. This mosque has been named after the person who built it. This historic monument is however closed to non-Muslims. It is open to the public daily except on Friday from dawn to dusk. Across the mosque there is a step-well with a five-storey tower structure, which is worth visiting.
The nearest railhead is the Lucknow Junction railway station, situated to the south-west of Lucknow city.
