Arulmigu Venugopala Swamy Temple is a religious spot situated at the top of Raja Kambeera Mountain, popularly known as Kottaimalai, 3 km away from
Arulmigu Renugambal Temple in
Thiruvannamalai District,
Tamil Nadu. This temple is the abode of
Lord Krishna, also called as Lord Venugopala Swamy. Here the Lord is seen in a standing posture along with his consorts
Rukmini and Satyabhama.
This temple, located at an elevation of 2500 ft, can be accessed through a ghat road running through thick and beautiful forest. A huge tractor specially built to take the pilgrims and the materials is the only transportation available. This tractor takes the visitors only to the foot of the hill.
