Arulmigu Valarolinathar Temple




Arulmigu Valarolinathar Temple is the third biggest temple among the Nagarathar clan temples. This temple is known for its Nagara Viduthi, a structure rich with sculpture and woodwork. The presiding deities are Valarolinathar and his consort Vadivudaiammai.

The temple has numerous classic wall paintings and they include ten avatars of Lord Vishnu, the five Pandavas, Draupadi, and the presiding deities. Vairava Theertham, a sacred spring near the temple, is said to have miraculous powers.

Arulmigu Valarolinathar Temple is 15 km from Karaikudi. Karaikudi Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
