Arulmigu Ramachandra Swamy Temple




Arulmigu Ramachandra Swamy Temple is 1 km west of Arulmigu Renugambal Temple at A K Padavedu village in Thiruvannamalai District of Tamil Nadu.

Lord Ram, with Sita and Lakshman are the main deities enshrined. Lord Hanuman is seen seated in front of Lord Ram reading a palm leaf manuscript.

Evidence exists pointing out that the temple was built before the 12th century. Numerous inscriptions found in the temple points out that the temple had been receiving support from Krishna Devaraya and his successors from Vijayanagar.
