Aroor is a village located on the NH 47, close to Kochi . This place is noted for a giant bridge connecting
Kumbalam. There are numerous small bridges worth visiting. Aroor is known as one of the three industrial estates in Alappuzha District. Marygiri Jacobite Syrian Church is the major attraction here. This is a major fish landing center and contributes about 60% marine products in Kerala.
Ernakulam is about 15km from here. Aroor has its own railway station.
