Nestled among the mountains of the
Himalayan ranges, Argi is a charming village in
Leh District of
Jammu and Kashmir. It is at an altitude of 12,434 ft above sea level and is 175 km north-west of
Jammu.
Argi is flanked by Gya to its west and Chompa to its east. The northern and southern parts are covered by Tugla and Tirido respectively.
Argi can be accessed from Namchang and Pongunagu by road.
