Archeological Museum




Established in 1952, Archeological Museum, managed by Archeological Survey of India, is located in Khajuraho of Madhya Pradesh. Formerly known as Jardine Museum, it exhibits over 2000 masterpieces of great Indian sculptors.

A huge statue of Parvati and the image of Lord Shiva, which is presented as wielding his trishul on a demon, are prominent of the collections.

Other displays include the images of Hari-Hara and Nritta Ganesh.
