Archeological Museum is situated in the historic
Red Fort, in
Delhi. The museum showcases the historic object of the
Mughal period. The exhibit includes the manuscripts that demonstrate the fine art of calligraphy, paintings, textiles and costumes. One section of the museum preserves the relics of the 1857 war of India independence, including maps and weapons.
Visiting hours are set between 10:00 to 17:00 hrs, except on Fridays.
