Archana Express




Introduced in 2002, Archana Express (also spelt Archna Express) runs between Rajendra Nagar Railway Station in Bihar and Jammu Tawi Railway Station in Jammu and Kashmir. (‘Archana,’ meaning 'offering,' is a Hindu worship rite.) The train passes through the Hindu pilgrim site Varanasi. It covers a distance of 1,503 km in 30 hrs. Main towns on the way are Patna, Mughal Sarai, Lucknow, Moradabad, Saharanpur, Ambala and Ludhiana. This super fast train has 15 coaches including third A/C, sleeper class and general compartments.

Train number 3289: Rajendra Nagar to Jammu Tawi, leaves Rajendra Nagar on Saturdays at 07:45 hrs.
Train number 3290: Jammu Tawi to Rajendra Nagar, leaves Jammu Tawi on Mondays at 23:55 hrs.
