Arambagh is a taluk
headquarters town in Hooghly District
of West Bengal
. It is situated about 41 km south of Bardhaman
. Hajipur to the west, Uchalan
to the north, Champadanga to the east and Gaurhati to the south are the surrounding places.
A large number of Dharmathakur images in tortoise's shape are found in Arambagh.
