Anthekulichomeenpayo is an exciting game played by slightly older children of 8 to 10 years in
Lakshadweep. The game is played in tanks. One of the children act as ‘chaser’ and stands guard on a stone step as the other children, spread all over the tank, glide through the water trying to reach him or her. The chaser tries to prevent this. He can do so only by touching a swimmer’s head outside water.
